The Summerdale Police Department is committed to protecting and serving our community with integrity, professionalism, and dedication. Our officers work around the clock to ensure the safety and security of all residents and visitors.

We provide a full range of law enforcement services including patrol, criminal investigations, traffic enforcement, and community policing initiatives. Our department is dedicated to building positive relationships with the community we serve.

Summerdale Volunteer Fire Department

The Summerdale Volunteer Fire Department is dedicated to protecting life and property through fire prevention, fire suppression, emergency medical services, and public education. Our department is comprised of approximately 45–50 active volunteer members who are highly trained and committed to serving our community.

We maintain volunteers at the station 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to ensure a rapid and reliable response to emergencies at all times.

In addition to emergency response, our department conducts fire safety inspections, provides fire prevention education to schools and community groups, and participates in community events to promote fire safety awareness.

Public Works Department

The Public Works Department is responsible for maintaining and improving the town's infrastructure, including streets, water and sewer systems, parks, and public facilities. Our team works diligently to ensure that Summerdale's infrastructure meets the needs of our growing community.

Services provided by Public Works include road maintenance, water and sewer system operations, street lighting, park maintenance, and facility management. We are committed to providing reliable, efficient services to all residents.

Community Development & Licensing

The Community Development & Licensing Department is responsible for ensuring that all development in Summerdale complies with building codes, zoning ordinances, and planning regulations. We work to guide the growth and development of our community in a way that benefits all residents.

Our department handles building permits, business licenses, zoning applications, code enforcement, and planning reviews. We work closely with developers, property owners, and residents to ensure that all projects meet our community standards and contribute positively to Summerdale.
